Joe and crew, you saved the day on a long road trip!
Having your transmission fail when you are 800 miles from home visiting grandma is a bad thing. After reading the reviews here, I went to United Transmission and couldn't be happier - Joe and his team had us back on the road in a day and a half.

Joe's customer service is absolutely terrific and made us feel like family, not a customer. He kept us well informed during the whole process, explained the warranty on our Suburban's rebuilt transmission and took very good care of us. I highly recommend him and wish I could give him more than 5 stars. If you need a transmission - go see Joe!

Truthful!
First of all I'm a female and like being able to take care of myself. I feel that when women try and do things for themselves (taking care of their cars) they are somehow always taken advantage of.

I had transmission fluid leaking from my car and knew that there was a possibility of this being a real problem. I looked for information concerning transmission repairs and read about Mr. Barton's reviews. I immediately decided that he would be the one I would take my vehicle to.

I was dreading the worst when I left my car. He calls back to leave a message with my husband to say that a bolt wasn't screwed back all the way and that was causing the fluid to leak. Guess What? He tightened the bolt and didn't charge me a thing.

I know that God forever blesses people that still do have morals and values. Thanks Mr.Barton for your truthfulness and honesty. I've already spread the word about you!!

Honest and dependable... and excellent work

.Joe Burton is the owner and is the most kindest and honest person that I have met in a long time. My transmission went out on my 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan and with this being my first major repair since I bought the vehicle in 2002.

I was very cautious on who I chose to fix it. I did my research and called a few companies that I saw on Kudzo but United was the one I felt comfortable with in my spirit so Joe had his tow person pick up the van and called me and told us we were going to have to get the transmission rebuilt.

They had my van ready in 4 days and when I picked it up last Friday they told me to bring it back in 2weeks so that they could check it to make sure everything is running correctly. Wow, I must say that my van is running great and I feel comfortable going to Florida in the spring without worrying about my transmission going out.

I have heard so many horror stories about people getting their transmission repaired at other places and having to keep coming back. I am very pleased. I have never met such honest mechanics and another thing that impressed me was that they have been in business for a long time and not one negative review.

If you have any transmission problems, please call Joe. I am very impressed. I will update in 6 months to let you know how it’s still running. Great Service!
