What some of United Transmission's customers have said about us...
I am glad I went!!
My transmission was taking to long to go in gear so I started searching for a shop. I read several great reviews and one bad review and I almost didn't go to United transmission. Well that review lied. Joe helped me for free and saved me the cost of a new transmission. One thing though. They were right about the dirty shop!

Ethical and Hard Working!
This was the best experience I've ever had with a garage. I brought in my 2000 saturn with a transmission that was acting funny. The guys here spent a long time taking with me about it and said they'd look up some further info on the internet. When we talked the next week they had done some research and ultimately said that the car wasn't worth the cost of a transmission repair. They could've taken my money but instead were honest about my shot transmission. I didn't pay a cent. I would recommend them to anyone in the metro atlanta area!

Great but unneeded customer service.
Took my car to united transmission because i thought my transmission was slipping. However i had the radiator replaced three weeks prior at pep boys. Turns out pep boys did not refill the fluid. United didn't charge me a thing and filled all the fluids up and made the check engine light go off. Great job guys

A Model Of Good Business Model

I was involved in 3 car fender bender around December which jolted the transmission of my 2002 Mitsubshi Montero. The insurance company refused to pay for the repair because they felt the car was old and had high mileage anyway. They let me know that I had to pay a professional to look at my car to determine if the transmission was ruined due to the accident.

I took it to a "franchise" whose name ended in O. I could tell they saw dollar signs which made me feel uncomfortable. After wasting 50 dollars on a diagnosis they told me I would have to pay more to have them take it down which would be $500 to just inspect it.

I decided to jump on the net and search my options. I ran into Joe on the net. They picked up my car for free. They dropped my transmission for free. They inspected it for free. They even told me where I could by a used transmission if things didn't go in my favor. The insurance company did end up paying for a used transmission and I paid Joe for the labor. I never felt like I was taken advantage of. Thank God there is still something called an honest mechanic. Curt Walker 2-22-10
